The Story of Us - Felton Bible Church Women's Retreat 2011

I spent this past weekend with some of the ladies from Felton Bible Church (my home church) at the annual Women's Retreat.  It was a great time of connecting with old friends and even making some new friends!  It was also nice to just a have a weekend of rest and play with other Christian gals.

Lake Tahoe at my last retreat there a few years ago

I am now home for one day before heading up to Tahoe for a much needed spiritual retreat with some of my favorite spiritual directors.  The theme for our time will be Rhythms of Grace and I really ask that you keep me in your prayers the next few days.  Spiritual retreats can be good and refreshing, they can also be challenging and tiring depending on what you and God are working through.  I am looking forward to my time with God and think it will be valuable in helping me determine what it is God has in store for me in the coming months and years.  Please pray for me that I might be able to focus and listen to the heartbeat of God the next few days and that my time alone with God will prove valuable in my ongoing ministry and life with God.  God has used this retreat in big ways in the past, in fact it was through my time with God at the retreat a number of years ago that I felt called to become a missionary to Rome.

When I return to Felton I hope to be heading off in different directions raising support and sharing God's heart for the people of Rome in a number of churches and other venues, pray that God will continue to open those doors and provide the much needed monthly support that I need.
